Hey folks! We just wanna say thanks for sticking by us through the weird technical difficulties, the promises of segment intros, some of the odd choices in our music, and not being around as much we’d like.
But at the same time, thank you for sticking around and listening in, requesting songs, and the like. This is a labor of love in which no money is made, but a lot is spent. It’s worth it because we love what we do, with or without the stress. Because we can share our love of musicals and other soundtracks with a large array of people, from all over the world.
So again , a big thank you. For those who celebrate Thanksgiving, may you have a pleasant day (and don’t forget the Macy’s Day Parade!)
Bringing Back an Old tradition
In our original run a few years back, every Christmas season we’d play music from a lovely collection released every year since 1999 for a good cause- Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
That’s right, it’s time to bring out our “Carols for a Cure” collection. Since we believe in waiting until after Thanksgiving to play these, you will start hearing them Friday morning! Which brings me to…
It has been in the plans for a while now to do a fundraiser for a non-profit organization (via Facebook Fundraisers) during this time of year. Naturally, one of our choices includes Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, but we also have The Trevor Project, Planned Parenthood, and RAICES as possible recipients. We are open to suggestions. More information will be available on the Facebook page.
and the last update for November…
Both updated site layout and new programming are now up!
The newer layout is a bit more mobile friendly, but if not- we have a nice little link up at the top to switch over.
We also added a Google translator for our international listeners. After all, how can we declare ourselves a multilingual station without the ability for our international listeners to learn about the station and keep up if not in an accessible language?
